Angela Dizon (b. Quezon City, Philippines) is a ceramic artist based in New York. Their work has been exhibited in fine art galleries and design showrooms throughout the United States. Working primarily in glazed stoneware, they construct abstract sculptures and liminal-space dollhouses, as well as objects designed for tea, fragrance, and floral arrangements.
After graduating New York University with a BS in Media, Culture, and Communications and a minor in Art History, they trained in ceramics through BKLYN CLAY, PWS Ceramic Hub, and independent study. In their free time, they are also a student of Sogetsu Ikebana, a Japanese floral tradition that deeply informs their work.
